RFK Jr. Tours Border, Calls Crisis "Fixable"

NewsNation reports: Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. headed to the border Tuesday for an up-close look at the effort to stop illegal crossings. Kennedy is making the trip as he works to gather enough support to be listed on the ballot in Arizona. He heard from local leaders about the crisis on the ground during his second visit to the southern border. NewsNation’s Ali Bradley attended a roundtable where Kennedy was learning about critical issues Border Patrol is facing, including load vehicles used to move undocumented immigrants further into the interior. The candidate was reportedly surprised to hear that 10 people could fit in a Ford Focus. Kennedy is also scheduled to meet with leaders at a border command center, as well as touring walls and other structures being used along the border. Read the full article here. RFK Jr. Visits Cochise County Arizona To Learn About Border Concerns

KGUN 9 reports: Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. was in Cochise County on Tuesday to see and hear what impact the increased activity at the southern border is having on communities. Cochise County Sheriff Mark Dannels hosted the visit that included a roundtable discussion with community leaders and law enforcement and a trip to the border. The sheriff said it's important for people to see what is happening in the area because smuggling continues on a daily basis. “This goes on everyday. Sadly somewhere in the county we’re addressing smuggling,” Dannels said. "But we’re doing everything we can to bring attention to it while D.C. worries about being reelected.” "I'm an advocate for wide gates for people who come here legally, but we shouldn't be letting anybody in here illegally," Kennedy said. RFK Jr. Rallies Tucson Supporters On The Campaign Trail

13 News (Tucson) reports: With election season in full swing, candidates are on the campaign trail to get their priorities out to the country, and independent hopeful Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. made a stop to speak with Tucson voters. During his speech, he addressed immigration, affordable housing, the environment, and honest government. Tucsonans who turned out to hear him speak said they were drawn to Kennedy over Trump or Biden because of his stance on issues important to Tucsonans, his honesty, and his focus on putting Americans first. “R.F.K Jr. actually talks about putting America and Americans first in the policies he is addressing whether it is the border whether it is foreign wars,” said Hunter Rosen, a Kennedy supporter. The message of putting America first drew hundreds of Tucsonans to the Fox Theatre. RFK, Jr. Holds Rally In Downtown Tucson

KGUN 9 reports: With so many independent voters in Arizona, independent candidate for president Robert F Kennedy, Jr. came to Tucson Monday night to make his plea to get on the Arizona ballot. “Bobby Kennedy and his centrist approach is really attractive to all voters,” independent voter Wyatt Forde said. In Tucson, the Pima County Recorder’s Office says independent voters make up over 93 thousand voters, which is about 33 percent, or about a third, of the overall voters. Kennedy said he’s focusing on independent voters in battleground states like Arizona. “Arizona is one of the battleground states. It’s a state that basically split even the last election,” Kennedy said. Read the full article here. If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

RFK Jr. Courts Las Vegas Voters as Alternative to Trump vs. Biden

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports: Independent presidential candidate and former Democrat Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. delivered a wide-ranging campaign speech to Las Vegas Valley supporters Sunday at Area 15. Kennedy, who is trying to position himself as a viable alternative to a Donald Trump vs. Joe Biden rematch, focused the first part of his speech on America’s health crisis and the purported link between Big Pharma and many of the government’s federal institutions. He claims Americans have been lied to by corporate interests and lobbyists who are intent on treating medical conditions for profit rather than promoting health and wellness. “Why are we not asking the next question,” he said to around 500 supporters about why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is allegedly not focusing its efforts on Americans’ health, which has been declining at an exponential rate for decades. “Why are we the sickest people on Earth?” Read the full article here. Democratic and Republican Elites Fear RFK Jr.’s Growing Path to Victory

The Hill reports: In what is shaping up to be a three-person contest between President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, and independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the question becomes: Which candidate can garner 34 percent of the popular vote or higher? While many “experts” still dismiss the possibility of an independent or third-party candidate winning the election, there seems to be a bit more hand-wringing and whistling past the graveyard amongst both Democratic and Republican operatives. Most especially as there is now a possibility that Kennedy may run on the Libertarian Party ticket. Kennedy’s words and warnings are now resonating with young voters here in the U.S. So much so that he now leads both Biden and Trump with that demographic. All of that hints at a very interesting political and electoral possibility. What if Kennedy — who “has no chance” and is only going to serve as a “spoiler” — not only runs on the Libertarian Party ticket and gets on key swing state ballots but continues to peel off more and more young and independent voters with a smattering of dissatisfied Democrats and Republicans? Some polls have already shown Kennedy at about 21 percent of the popular vote. With just over nine months to go before the election, what if he grows his support at just over 1 percent per month? Impossible? Well, in a nation where 70 percent of the voters have said they prefer the Democratic and Republican nominees weren’t named Biden and Trump, the “impossible” might be a much lower hurdle to clear. Elon Musk Goes Viral For Endorsing RFK Jr. Speech Hitting Baby Boomers

Fox News reports: Tech billionaire Elon Musk endorsed a speech by 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Sunday that criticized baby boomers' voting habits and praised podcast host Joe Rogan. In a video clip that has accumulated more than 475,000 views on X, Kennedy admitted that he is polling poorly among those born between 1946 and 1964 and attributed their lack of support to how the boomer generation consumes media. "They have a disability, which is they only get their news from ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and The New York Times," Kennedy said in the speech. "And if I were living in that information ecosystem, I would have a low opinion of myself as well." Read the full article here. Opinion: As President, I Will Stand With United Steelworkers

Newsweek reports: On December 18, 2023, Nippon Steel announced that they had reached an agreement with U.S. Steel management to acquire the 122-year-old steel maker and iconic symbol of American industrial strength for $55 a share or $14.9B. The United Steelworkers of America, who are affected most by this deal, were denied a seat at the table during negotiations with Nippon and are adamantly opposed to the sale. Because Nippon is a foreign company and the steel industry has importance for national security, the deal requires approval of the CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States) chaired by Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen. The sale has been met with bipartisan opposition. Those opposed include Republican Senators J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, and Josh Hawley, as well as Democratic Senators Sherrod Brown, John Fetterman, and Joe Manchin. Due to pressure exerted by the Steelworkers, the White House has said "the deal merits serious scrutiny." I am opposed to the sale for a number of reasons. For starters, the board and management of U.S. Steel essentially auctioned off the company to the highest bidder for the sole purpose of aggrandizing shareholders equity at the expense of the Steelworkers. Second, the deal was struck behind closed doors without the participation of the United Steelworkers of America. This is a direct violation of the U.S. Steel-USW Basic Labor Agreement, which allows the union itself to bid for the company or assign their right to bid to another bidder. Finally, the Steelworkers union has expressed grave concern over the sale of a storied Industrial asset vital to national security. This should concern all Americans as well.
