RFK Jr. USA Today Interview

USA Today reports: Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. appears to be pulling voters from major party candidates President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. Kennedy, 70, a longtime environmental lawyer, sat down on June 4 with USA TODAY Senior National Political Correspondent Sarah D. Wire and New Hampshire election reporting fellow Margie Cullen to discuss his ambitions for the race, whether he'll make it on every state ballot and what his father would think of his campaign. Wire: This is not going to be a two man race, you pointed to polls that pit you against two of them- Kennedy: What I would say is there's never been an independent candidate that we know of, that's run before, that's been able, that in head-to-head races, would be beat both other candidates. My challenge over the next five months, is to persuade Americans to vote out of hope, out of inspiration, rather than out of fear. In every poll, I beat President Trump and President Biden in terms of favorability. Oh, there is a big, big majority of Americans who would want to vote for me, but the reason they're voting for President Trump or President Biden in the current polls is because they're so terrified of the other candidate: that if Biden gets elected, it will be the end of the Republic, if Trump gets elected, it will be the end of the Republic. And so they're voting out of fear. And my job is, my challenge is, to persuade Americans to vote out of hope rather than out of fear. Read the full interview here.

RFK Jr. Tells NewsNation: 'I Will Be on Ballot in All 50 states by Mid-July'

NewsNation reports: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. expressed confidence he will secure a spot on the ballot in all 50 states by mid-July,. “I will be on all 50 states by mid-July,” Kennedy said Monday on NewsNation’s “Dan Abrams Live.” “We’re already halfway there in terms of electoral votes.” Kennedy acknowledged the arcane system that makes it difficult for independent candidates to get on state ballots. However, he said his campaign had already met stringent signature requirements in the major states of Texas, New York and California. “The other states are all pretty easy. And we will definitely have them by mid-July,” he stated. “So I will be on the ballot in 50 states, despite all the efforts to keep me off.” Kennedy said his campaign has already been approved for nine state ballots and had collected sufficient signatures for 10 more states. RFK Jr. Calls CNN Debate Criteria 'Illegal'

Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is being held to a different criteria than President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. And that may mean exclusion from CNN's June 27 televised debate. This comes after the Kennedy Campaign in recent months qualified in at least four polls, scoring at least 15%. All four are on CNN's list of recognized polls, but Island News has learned that one of them (from Monmouth University polling) is not being counted by CNN. There is a second obstacle. CNN says candidates must be on the ballot to reach potentially 270 electoral votes. It's a qualification that no candidate currently meets. Island News has learned the Federal Election Commission and the Commission on Presidential Debates both do not recognize the term “presumptive nominee” that CNN granted to exclusively qualify former president Donald Trump and President Joe Biden for the debate stage. Third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke about the apparent snub, and what his campaign plans to do going forward. Watch the video on YouTube here:
