RFK Jr. Dismisses Trump After Being Called a ‘Democrat Plant’

The Guardian reports:   Robert F Kennedy Jr has dismissed Donald Trump as “unhinged” after a social media tirade from the former Republican president accused the independent White House hopeful of being a “Democrat plant” and “wasted protest vote”. “When frightened men take to social media they risk descending into vitriol, which makes them sound unhinged,” Kennedy wrote Saturday on X in a post that doubled as a debate challenge. “President Trump’s rant against me is a barely coherent barrage of wild and inaccurate claims that should best be resolved in the American tradition of presidential debate.” Read the full article at this link.   If you resonate with this message, please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

RFK Jr.’s Third-Party Run — A Game Changer or a Political Spoiler?

Shore News Network reports:   The political landscape is buzzing with theories and accusations as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. forges ahead with his independent presidential campaign, provoking stark reactions from across the spectrum. Recently, former President Donald Trump has vocally criticized Kennedy, labeling him a Democratic “plant” designed to siphon votes and ensure a Democratic victory in the upcoming election. Such a bold claim warrants a deeper exploration of RFK Jr.’s potential impact on the election dynamics. Trump’s assertion on Truth Social that Kennedy is a “Radical Left Liberal” planted to assist “Crooked Joe Biden” in winning re-election encapsulates a common fear among Republicans—that an independent candidate will split the conservative vote. This concern isn’t baseless; history is littered with examples of third-party candidates drawing enough votes away from major party candidates to influence the outcome of an election. Trump’s angle, branding a vote for Kennedy as a “WASTED PROTEST VOTE,” aims to dissuade disenchanted voters from diverting their support from the main Republican contender. Yet, there’s another side to the coin. Democratic leaders are equally perturbed, viewing Kennedy’s campaign as a potential drain on their voter base, particularly among those disillusioned with the current administration yet hesitant to swing right. This dual fear underscores a significant point: RFK Jr. holds a unique position to influence the election from the middle ground, appealing to a broader spectrum of voters who are tired of the traditional bipartisanship and seeking an alternative that speaks to more centrist, progressive values. TikTok Ban: Pro-Bitcoin RFK Threatens Lawsuit To Support ByteDance

CryptoRank reports:   Independent US Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has threatened to contest the TikTok ban based on constitutional rights.  On Saturday, the pro-Bitcoin politician explained to his followers on X that the ban was not exactly what they were made to believe; the harvesting of users’ data.  RFK further described the ban as a “smoke screen.” For context, RFK explained that data harvesting was already happening globally before now especially amongst intelligence agencies in the U.S. In his opinion, Congress and the Biden administration do not have enough information about how TikTok operates.  The video sharing app has been serving as an entrepreneurial platform for many of its young users but according to RFK’s argument it appears that the government does not understand this. “The TikTok ban is yet another example of how neither political party has any compunctions about sacrificing your freedoms, rights, and choices when it serves their political interests,” the politician said. RFK Seeks To Expand Ballot Access In Campaign Built On Distaste For Major Party Nominees

The National Desk reports:   Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s push to get on all 50 states’ ballots took a step forward last week after his campaign announced he would appear on the ballot in the key swing state of Michigan as both major parties fret over his potential impact on November’s election. Kennedy is mounting a longshot independent bid to challenge President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election and hoping to capitalize on broad dissatisfaction with the options for both political parties. The number of voters who say they have high interest in November’s election hit a nearly 20-year low at this point in the race, according to a new NBC poll released Sunday. A majority of voters hold negative views of both Biden and Trump, which has created an opening for a third-party candidate to try to make an impact. RFK Jr. Wants To Put The Entire US Budget On A Blockchain

Cointelgraph reports: United States presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wants to put the entire U.S. budget on the blockchain.  During a Michigan rally on April 21, he proposed the idea and said the move would allow every American to look at “every budget item anytime they want, 24 hours a day.” “We’re gonna have 300 million eyeballs on our budget, and if somebody is spending $16,000 for a toilet seat, everybody’s gonna know about it.” Read the full article here. RFK Jr.: Biden’s and the Democrats’ Ongoing Nightmare

The American Spectator reports: “Democracy!” That’s the rally cry of today’s liberal Democrats. It’s also the precise opposite of what they actually support for those standing in the way of Democrat President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign. These democracy advocates would ban Donald Trump from ballots in every state if they could, or better yet, put him behind bars or use the courts to disqualify him in some other way. But among their most concerted and disturbing efforts to date — in fact, a day-after-day campaign — has been their shocking effort to block Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from getting on the ballot anywhere from coast to coast. This has been a comprehensive effort, locally, nationally, in every state, and in D.C. Democracy, democracy, democracy! Well, no, not when it comes to RFK Jr. And to that end, I’m here to report some really bad news for Biden and Democrats: The son of Bobby Kennedy is suddenly getting on ballots, and his success in recent days signals what might well be the start of a surge. In an especially crucial development last week — largely ignored by the liberal media — Kennedy got on the ballot in the crucial swing state of Michigan. “[T]he campaign has gained ballot access in Michigan,” stated an April 18 press release from the Kennedy campaign. “The party has filed all necessary documents with the state, putting the Kennedy-Shanahan ticket on the ballot in Michigan this fall.” Read the full article here. Five Worries Keeping Biden and Democrats Up at Night

The Hill reports: The Biden campaign is not complacent, and there are lingering fears among Democrats and the larger Bidenworld about how a number of issues from inflation to the crisis in Gaza could hurt the president in the fall. Here’s what keeps the Biden campaign up at night:  #1: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Biden this week received one of the only endorsements that will matter this election — the backing of Camelot. The Kennedy clan threw their arms around Biden in a major campaign rally this week while basically snubbing Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. who is running a third-party bid for the White House. None of this means Kennedy is diminished in the presidential race. In fact, he’s becoming a bigger threat. Kennedy this week secured a spot on the ballot in Michigan, a battleground state Biden desperately needs to win but where he appears quite vulnerable. And he is likely to be on the ballot in other key states, including Arizona, Georgia and Nevada. In what is shaping up to be a low enthusiasm/low turnout race, Kennedy could become a viable option to voters who feel turned off by Biden and Trump. Read the full article here. Hawaii Will Be the Third State Ballot To Include RFK Jr.

CNN reports: Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will appear on Hawaii’s presidential ballot following a Friday ruling that blocked an effort by Hawaii Democrats to disqualify his campaign’s ballot access petition. Hawaii marks the third state where Kennedy has officially qualified for ballot access. He gained ballot access in Michigan, a key battleground state, earlier this week after qualifying for Utah’s ballot earlier this year. The ruling, issued by hearings officer Aaron Schulaner, said an objection filed by the Democratic Party of Hawaii “did not meet its burden of proof in this case” and the Kennedy campaign’s We the People Party – a minor party the campaign established to circumvent ballot access requirements – will be allowed to appear on Hawaii’s ballot in November. The American People Are Petrified

Featured on The Hill: Tens of millions of Americans who are at the breaking point after being manipulated by the fear and threats directed at them by those either elected or appointed to serve them. But of course, those overlords don’t serve the American people. They don’t serve the working class, the poor and the disenfranchised. They serve only themselves, their parties, the billionaires, activists and organizations directing them. These entrenched elites float high above the unwashed masses in bubbles of luxury, privilege, ignorance and even contempt. As they do, over 60 percent of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. The same share doesn’t have even $1,000 in the bank for an emergency expense. Inflation is forcing them to choose between necessities; they use credit cards to purchase the bare necessities and are then hit with crippling interest rates. For the elites in the bubbles, this is all a “Let them eat cake” moment. But for the working class of America, this is not only devastating, but unsustainable. For those truly paying attention, there is no mystery as to why the voice of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is resonating with more and more of these Americans. Every single day in his X feed, Kennedy takes on the politically- and activist-created threats that are overwhelming the American people and causing them to lose hope. Every day he is telling the voiceless that he hears them. Instead of President Biden and his team directing the Democratic National Committee to smear Kennedy and take out his populist campaign, it seems the wiser choice would be to determine why Kennedy’s voice is now resonating with millions of petrified Americans. The same advice holds true for Trump and the Republican National Committee. Read the full opinion here. If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Will Be on the Ballot in Michigan

The New York Times reports: On the same day that more than a dozen members of his family endorsed President Biden, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced Thursday that he had secured a spot on the ballot in Michigan, one of the swing states likely to decide the election. The Natural Law Party, which has ballot access in Michigan, nominated Mr. Kennedy and his running mate, Nicole Shanahan, for president and vice president. A spokeswoman for the Michigan secretary of state’s office confirmed that this meant Mr. Kennedy would be on the ballot in November. Mr. Kennedy is seeking ballot access in all 50 states through a mixture of independent petitions and third-party nominations. In some states, he has filed to create his own party. At the same time, Democratic allies of Mr. Biden are working to challenge his access to the ballot. In a statement released by Mr. Kennedy’s campaign, Doug Dern, the chairman of the Natural Law Party, called him “the most qualified candidate in the modern-day history of America.” Read the full article here. Bobby Kennedy And The Ownership Economy

Forbes reports: Over the past year in his independent presidential campaign, Bobby Kennedy Jr. has sought to bring together members of both major political parties, with a form of economic populism that expands ownership opportunities. In contrast to Sanders, Kennedy’s goal is not to grow the welfare state or state control over the economy. His economic populism is free-market oriented, aimed at building a broader property-owning middle class. It is aimed at widening the number of worker-owners with a stake in the market system, through their ownership of homes, businesses, employee stock and profit sharing, and other assets. Whether Kennedy’s economic strategies can achieve the goals of ownership and the middle class he has set, remains to be determined. But his “ownership economy” is one that should be discussed and debated. Currently, it is largely ignored by the legacy media—or subsumed by the parade of articles speculating about of how many votes he will “take away” from President Biden or President Trump. I wrote about Kennedy’s heterodox jobs program late last summer. In the eight months since, he has sharpened his jobs agenda, and connected it to a broader platform of worker ownership. It is time to revisit the campaign’s economic themes, briefly noting three of the subjects Kennedy often speaks about in 2024: the abandonment of vast sections of the blue collar economy, low wage workforces, and the marginalization of small businesses.
