My mother was a Kennedy democrat. She met your uncle and was going to vote for your father as the first person she ever voted for and was devastated when he was murdered. My mother who died of non alcoholic liver disease, spent her last Christmas locked up in a nursing home only allowed to see one visitor each week for a half hour. She called me every night crying and confused as to why no one could come see her. My mother’s funeral was November 22, 2021, which I thought was significant considering her love of your uncle. The Covid lock downs made her last years hell. I had to order her medicine from the South Pacific as Medicare would not cover it and it was 6 grand per month without insurance. I found a rogue pharmacy where I could get it for 112 per month. It was not a narcotic, it was an antibiotic so it was fine to come through customs. The Covid lockdowns caused my mother’s medicine to sit on a ship in California for months while her condition got worse and worse. Sir, I believe the Covid lockdowns caused my mother’s condition to deteriorate so quickly, that it shortened her life. I am brought to tears by your words regarding this and moved by the fact that you, the son of my mother’s hero, want to make sure this never happens again. I fully support you. I was also outraged by the lockdown!!! I yelled about on twitter at the time! Stop! Don’t do it! All our cries fell on deaf ears. We are still dying and suffering and trying to rebuild from the very destructive lockdown. Many Americans lives are still damaged by this including mine.

The more I hear RFK Jr. the more I love him. As a lifelong Republican, RFK Jr. day by day is making me a Kennedy Democrat.
