Kennedy signaled the importance of economic issues to the average American, outlining the plight of millions of Americans who are having trouble making ends meet and promising to place Americans' economic concerns about inflation, food prices, depleted savings, and rising credit costs at the top of his agenda as president.

It was Kennedy's seventh campaign visit to New Hampshire.
