Kennedy, who visited the border in June on a fact-finding mission where he spoke with officials, aid workers, and migrants, will today call on Democratic officials to unite with Republicans to pressure President Biden to adopt a common sense border policy.

As Kennedy wrote this morning in an op-ed in Newsweek, “I call upon all Americans, of every party and political persuasion, to face facts. President Biden's loose border policy has been a disaster.”

Kennedy will further elucidate a tough but compassionate alternative — “high walls, wide gates” — that he believes can unify Americans around the divisive issue of immigration.
