Planet vs Plastics Earth Day Event / Petition Signing Opportunity

Come sign the petition to get RFK Jr. on the ballot in November and stay to enjoy the activities of the Planet vs. Plastics event at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale

From the event page: "This is a fun for the whole family event that will include a beach cleanup, games & activity sheets for kids, an opportunity to make your own earth day flag, and interpretative discussions geared towards keeping our oceans & beach/dune ecosystems free of litter." The park also offers nature trails and other activities (e.g. biking, kayaking), and is walking distance to the beach.

For signature collection, please meet 30 minutes earlier in the parking lot closest to the visitor center.

What to Bring / Know:

Wear protective clothing and/or bring sunscreen as needed and bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated. There is a restaurant on site for lunch if desired. There may be a parking fee of up to $6 if not waived for the event, so bring cash just in case.
