Stop and Sign Petitioning Event!

Please join us for a petition signing and petition gathering event this Saturday, April 27th, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Carbondale Farmer’s Market, located at the Westown Mall parking lot, 2001 W. Main St. (Highway 13) in Carbondale, toward the West end of town. (Turn South by the Shell Station on Emerald Street and the parking lot will be on your right.) Although we cannot petition in the Market itself, we can do so on the periphery. Look for us on the grass patch near the East end of the parking lot. We plan on having a small table there, plenty of petitioning supplies and some campaign materials including buttons and yard signs.

If you just want to sign the petition to get Bobby on the ballot in Illinois, this is a prime opportunity. If you want to help us gather petition signatures and/or pick up some sheets and learn how to do it on your own, all the better!

Please note that there is a chance of rain and thundershowers on Saturday. At this time, we don’t know how likely that is. If it just rains for a short time, we will pause petitioning and come back out when it stops. If it is raining steadily, we will reschedule for the following Saturday, May 4th, same time and location, and send out a new notice.
