They can put their mailing address as the office of the county clerk
They can pick up their ballots at the county elections office
We should craft a plan for GOTV for homeless people in OR, teaching them how to register using a temporary address
Voting While in Jail or Prison? If so, how can Voters Register and Cast Their Ballots?
Voters in jail can vote if convicted of a misdemeanor and can request an absentee ballot
Even if incarcerated, voters awaiting trial for any charge can vote
Voters servicing a felony sentence cannot vote, but once completed, voters serving parole or probation can register and vote in the presidential election
Voters must re register to vote once released from incarceration. Let’s be sure we have a strong plan for GOTV for those recently released from prison or serving jail time for a misdemeanor or awaiting trial.
