RFK, Jr.’s Rising Profile Sparks Democratic Jitters

The Hill reports: Democrats are growing concerned that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s profile is rising just as President Biden embarks on a challenging campaign to keep the White House out of Republican control. Kennedy, an anti-vaccine proponent who launched a primary bid against Biden this spring, is doing unexpectedly well in some polls and receiving increasing media attention as a result. He has also been on a press tour this week that included a Twitter Spaces discussion with Elon Musk and digital town hall with journalist Michael Smerconish. “Democrats would be foolish to mock or belittle RFK Jr. Every time we make fun of those who hold fringe positions, we lose,” said Michael Ceraso, a Democratic strategist and former campaign aide to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “The Democratic Party acting smug never works.” Kennedy has indeed stirred up some untapped anger within his own party; Democrats have seen him rise to double digits in several recent polls, leading some establishment figures to acknowledge the parts of his message that may be resonating with voters.  Read the full article here. The RFK, Jr. Wild Card in New Hampshire

The National Review reports: The conventional wisdom is that the presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and its apparent traction with a segment of the electorate (as much as 20 percent in the latest national CNN poll), reflects a combination of three things. One is generic discontent with Joe Biden, for which Kennedy is an available vehicle. The second is the attraction of RFK Jr.’s conspiratorial populism (ranging from stolen-election theories to anti-vaccines to a broader suspicion of technology and finance) to the sorts of left-populists who backed Bernie Sanders in the last two elections. The third is name recognition, including the residual power of the Kennedy name. Marianne Williamson, the third Democrat in the race, shares many of these characteristics, although she is not a Kennedy and not identified to nearly the same extent with, say, the anti-vax cause. She’s also consistently pulling about eight percent of the Democratic electorate in polls. "The Experiment" | Running on Truth | Episode 1

Faced with a wall of censorship and propaganda, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has developed an unusual campaign strategy—telling Americans the truth. In Episode 1 of this series about his presidential campaign, Mr. Kennedy describes how God, nature, and his family’s legacy have inspired him to run for the highest office. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “We’re going to do a mass experiment, a new kind of mass experiment of what happens when you tell the people the truth.” "My mission over the next 18 months of this campaign, and throughout my Presidency, will be to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now to impose a new kind of corporate feudalism on our country...to poison our children and our people with chemicals and pharmaceutical drugs, to strip mine our assets, to hollow out the middle class, and keep us in a constant state of war.”

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s Battle for Liberty

Lew Rockwell reports: Robert Kennedy,Jr. is waging a heroic struggle for liberty. He is one of the foremost crusaders against the fake Covid “vaccines.” He has been especially effective in his exposure of arch-criminal Anthony Fauci. He has also fully embraces the position that both his father Robert Kennedy, Sr. and his uncle John F. Kennedy were assassinated as part of a conspiracy. The best summary of RFK Jr.’s achievements and programs is by superlawyer Robert Barnes: “In his early 20’s, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. attacked the overthrow of Allende in Chile. (See Atlantic Monthly, February 1974). In 1975, before the Church Committee completed revelations, he condemned American assassinations of foreign leaders. (See Wall Street Journal, December 16, 1975). When others stayed silent as we unleashed Islamic jihad through Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, RFK pushed back in twin articles in February of 1979 published in the Post and the Boston Globe against the coups. RFK continue to criticize almost every major foreign intervention in his lifetime, which started with Vietnam alongside his father’s campaign in 1968 through his criticism of both Iraq wars, the intervention in Syria, and the involvement in Afghanistan, criticizing these oil-driven wars, as his commentary in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2016, and 2018 detail. As the latest iteration of that, see a pre-campaign, but recent piece in Politico. Israel and Antisemitism: My Conversation with Presidential Candidate Robert Kennedy, Jr.

The Jewish Journal reports: Today I met with Democratic Presidential candidate Robert Kennedy, Jr. and discussed Israel, the rise of antisemitism, and Kennedy’s recent tweet where he supported Roger Waters. It was courageous of Bobby to come and meet me and reassert his lifelong support of Israel and the Jewish people, continuing in the legacy of his great father who was murdered by Palestinian gunman Sirhan Sirhan because of his own support of Israel in 1968. Bobby and I discussed the volatile situation in the Middle East and the challenges facing America for more than two hours. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s Candidacy and What Might Have Been

Wall Street Journal Opinion reports: When I was a kid in the mid-1950s, I used to play touch football with Robert F. Kennedy, the father, and his crew on a field in Georgetown. I remember one Saturday morning when—despite being conspicuously pregnant—Ethel Kennedy was in the game. She lined up as a wide receiver. Bobby, as usual, was captain and quarterback. Ethel faked right, then cut to the inside, and her husband threw her a perfect spiral. She bobbled it, the ball doing a little dance in midair for a second, and then she dropped it. Bobby, infuriated, cussed her out. The baby in Ethel’s womb that morning was Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. For me, Bobby Jr. seems to float in the interval between then and now, dislocated in time.  Read the full opinion piece here.If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.
