Will Media Censors Never Quit?ABC’s Foolish Omissions in RFK Interview

The New York Post reports: ABC News did a wide-ranging interview with Robert Kennedy Jr. the other day. The ABC reporter asked him a number of challenging questions, notably about the lack of support from his own family for his presidential run. It was interesting stuff, and good journalism — having on the heterodox, newly minted presidential candidate, allowing him to make the case for his candidacy and forcing him to think and reflect out loud.  Read the full opinion piece here. Despite Spending Little Money, Kennedy’s Poll Numbers Keep Ticking Up

The New York Sun reports: The surprising success of a maverick presidential run by a scion of the Kennedy family, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., points to a problem that Democrats are doing their best to ignore: Few in the party’s rank and file are jazzed about the incumbent, and some of them are willing to embrace even the kookiest of candidates as a result. Despite spending little money and being largely shunned by the mainstream press — silenced mid-interview in some cases — Mr. Kennedy’s poll numbers keep ticking up. Before he formally announced his candidacy April 19, a Morning Consult poll had him at 10 percent among Democratic voters. Just more than a week later, he was polling at 21 percent in an Emerson College poll.  Read the full article here. If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

Biden Challengers Will Have to Beat Censorship Regime in 2024

Newsweek reports: Those who wish to unseat the incumbent commander-in-chief already face a formidable opponent in the Democratic Party and its myriad partners, including a national security apparatus currently targeting Biden's chief opponent in this election, and that ran interference for Biden in the last one. To win in 2024, Republicans will have to compete under a lax voting system largely of the Democrats' own making, and which they manipulated and exploited to near perfection in 2020. ABC News Censors Democratic Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Jonathan Turley reports: Before he was assassinated, Robert F. Kennedy declared that “hand in hand with freedom of speech goes the power to be heard.” That does not appear to be the view of ABC News, which censored his son who is now running for the Democratic presidential nomination. Biden vs. Trump in 2024? Don’t Be So Sure

The Wall Street Journal reports: Look at people’s faces when you say, “Looks like it’ll be Biden and Trump.” Those faces tell you everything—the soft wince, the shake of the head, the sigh. RFK, Jr. Takes Strong Antiwar, Anti-Empire Stance in Presidential Run

LA Progressive reports: Robert Francis Kennedy, Jr., near the very beginning of his April 19 announcement to run for President in the Democratic Party spoke these words: “Fifty-five years ago, last month, I sat as a 14-year-old boy behind my father as he now announced in a Senate caucus room in Washington, DC, his campaign for President of the United States. And my father at time was in the same, in many ways, the same position that I’m in today. He was running against a President of his own party. He was running against a war. He was running against—he was running at a time of unprecedented polarization in our country.” Read the full article here. Inside RFK Jr’s White House Bid Launch

The New York Post reports: Inside the red, white and blue bunting-draped ballroom at the Park Plaza, filled with Secret Service-style security and bomb-sniffing dogs, Kennedy’s supporters held signs reading “Heal the Divide” and “Kennedy 2024.” Many refused to speak to reporters, but one, Ann, an 80-year-old woman from Poultney, Vt., who’d gotten up at 4 a.m. to drive down to Boston with her daughter, said she had better be quoted correctly. “I remember the day JFK was killed,” she said. “I was working at the hospital in one room and by the time I got to the next room, he was dead. Then I saw Bobby Kennedy murdered on TV. They took them from us. I believe in RFK Jr. I like how he stands up to special interests and fights corruption. I think he’s the only one who can heal us.” Read the full article here. If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.
