Kennedy Collects Signatures Needed to Gain Ballot Access in New Jersey

TRENTON, NJ—MAY 16, 2024—Today, the Kennedy campaign announced it has collected all of the signatures needed to get ballot access in New Jersey. Volunteers collected more than three times the necessary 800 signatures in just two weeks.

“Putting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the ballot in New Jersey marks yet another milestone in the state’s long history of defending our nation’s constitutional rights,” said Joe Amoroso, national field relations coordinator and petitioning lead in New Jersey. “Voters deserve a better alternative to the two-party system. We are honored to have helped give New Jerseyans a choice.”

The Kennedy campaign has launched a robust ballot access plan to ensure the Kennedy-Shanahan ticket is on the ballot in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The Kennedy-Shanahan ticket is officially on the ballot in seven statesUtah, Michigan, California, Delaware, Oklahoma, Hawaii, and Texas. It has collected enough signatures for ballot access in eight other states — New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Idaho, Nebraska, Iowa, Ohio, and now New Jersey.

Kennedy is the first independent ever to defeat both major party candidates in head-to-head matchups.
